all my nerd stuff
Software is the hobby that lets me have the other hobbies. It is how the plants got a catalogue, how this site exists, and how a passing question turns into a weekend and a working thing.

Five doors, all of them open at once.
The Adcock Botanical Garden catalogue is the big one... every plant with an accession number and a photographic record, the way a real botanical garden keeps them.
I wanted my own corner of the internet back rather than another profile on someone else’s platform. This site is the result, and designing it is half of why it exists.
Started because I wanted one specific object. Stayed because there is always one more specific object.
Where I actually use it, where it earns its keep, and where I have decided it does not. Including the honest version of how much of this site it wrote.
The games I keep going back to, and what they have in common with the books I love: a world with rules, and enough of it to settle into.
